Well I got to finish the rear leaf spring conversion today. It was rather easy and i'm very happy with the results.
First thing to do was to remove the stock links and shocks from the chassis.

Next I installed the leaf spring mounts onto the axle and secured the leaf springs to them.

To get the rear shackles to work requires a small mod to the rear crossmember. If you don't wish to do this, you can use the H parts on this region and your shackles up front, but because I'm going for scale, I decided to do some modding.
Simply take the stock rear crossmember and cut the lip off the inside and also grind down the small nub.

You will now need to drill out the small nub you ground down to fit 3mm hardware.
This will allow you to mount the crossmember back further allowing room for your shackle to pivot.
I also added two nylon washers on each side of the shackle to adjust for the width, but they also appear like nylon bushings on a real 1:1. I will soon add a menu to our cart that allows you to select honcho kit which will include extra washers to do this.

Lastly, you'll need to install the leaf spring hangar. I like to install them on the leaf springs first.
Then I move them to the frame, adjust the shackle angel to a proper location and mark the hole. It is important to make sure you mount this flush to the chassis not allowing it to move or pivot.
Then simply drill a 3mm hole and your ready for install.

And for those who say leaf springs don't work good, check out this flex with an unweighted truck!! 5.5" up front and 5" in the rear. Plenty if you ask me.
